Linda Speel is a fabric artist who lives in Petaluma, CA. She is originally from San Francisco where she first learned tie-dye and batik in 1969.

 

Working at it on and off since that time, in the last few years she has been learning techniques new to her, among them the method of Ice Dyeing. Using her old method knowledge and combining them to bring them together in interesting designs of color.
